Getting Started
Install the latest release with a single command, then sign in to master control. For development, build from source.
One-line install#
On a Linux (x86-64) host with systemd, run the installer as root. It downloads the latest release, verifies its SHA-256 against the mirror, installs the binary to /etc/kratos/bin/kratos, writes a starter config, and enables a kratos.service unit.
$
curl -fsSL https://updates.kratosott.com/install.sh | sudo shWhen it finishes, the panel is listening on :18080. On first start KRATOS creates the admin account and prints a generated password — read it from the service log:
shell
journalctl -u kratos | grep -i passwordThe installer binds the panel to
0.0.0.0:18080 over plain HTTP by default. For anything public, put it behind a TLS reverse proxy and restrict the bind to 127.0.0.1 — see Deployment.Command-line flags#
| Flag | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
-c <path> | kratos.cfg | Config file |
-p <port> | 18080 | Listen on 0.0.0.0:<port> |
-b <addr:port> | 0.0.0.0:18080 | Full bind address |
-providers <dir> | providers | Directory of *.cfg provider files |
-epgport <port> | 0 (off) | Public XMLTV EPG listener |
Values set in kratos.cfg → Rs (Bind, ProvidersPath, EpgPort) take precedence over the CLI.
